Justin

“Justin revealed a predilection for going completely over the top where women are concerned when he planned Danielle’s Valentine surprise. She was ‘bad sick’ and wanted to curl up and die at her grandparents’ house. Her grandfather was out of town and she had no idea that her grandmother was in cahoots with Justin. She got in a tub filled with bath salts and treated herself to a long, sleepy soak. Meanwhile, Justin had sneaked into the house and set up a candlelit dinner complete with non-alcoholic champagne, flowers, cards and a teddy bear. He had made brownies and blinis, which he knew were Danielle’s favourites. Danielle came out of the bathroom, feeling wretched and there was Justin beaming, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day, Baby.’ Danielle was overwhelmed and started to cry: ‘I had no make-up on, my hair was like, “Eew!” And I had on this ugly blue nightdress. It was a long flannel shirt and something only your grandmother should see you in.’

Eventually, the following September, just after Danielle’s fifteenth birthday, Justin was due to fly back home from Florida and they decided it would be the perfect time to make love for the first time. Friday night was a football game, Saturday was Danielle’s homecoming dance at high school and Sunday was the day they planned to do the deed. They went shopping for condoms together in Memphis on the Saturday morning, giggling as they read the backs of the packets in the pharmacy.”
